Issue/Introduction
When configuring the Spectrum Network Configuration Manager, an Approval process can be implemented allowing for the Approval or Denial of Tasks submitted.
When configuring the OneClick mode of Approval if the appropriate user rights are not assigned to the Task Creator and Task Approver users the process may appear to fail.
Task Creator is able to create the Task. The Task doesn't show up for the Approver as Pending Approval and instead shows as Inactive. The Approve functions are unavailable to select.
Environment
All supported Spectrum releases
Resolution
Ensure the Task Creator has the following User Rights:
Ensure the user has the "Hide Configuration Changes from Approval Requests" Right enabled
Ensure the user does NOT have the "Task Approver" Right enabled
Ensure the Task Approver has both User Rights enabled.
Additional Information
Please reference the "Network Configuration Manager Device-Level Tasks" and "User Administration in OneClick" sections of the documentation form more information.
