Issue/Introduction

I can add more number of ‘Password Management’ devices, which is correspondent to ‘Credential Management’ in Dashboard page.
Why?

Environment

CA Privileged Access Manager 3.x+

Resolution

Since PAM 3.X we introduced saving of configuration credentials as target accounts, e.g. for LDAP integration and database backup via SCP.
This requires external devices to have a ‘Credential Management’ license.
Therefore that number of allowed ‘Credential Management’ devices are the number found in the license plus 10.
