Issue/Introduction

As of the r3.6 release of Performance Management the ability to generate full multi-page PDF reports from existing Dashboards has been added.

How to use the new feature that allows full multi-page PDF report generation in NetOps Performance Management

Environment

NetOps Performance Management releases r3.6 or newer

Resolution

When you send or schedule a report by email, you can choose the following format options:

• PDF
  
  
  • Select Portrait or Landscape to specify the page layout of the PDF document.
  • Select whether to run the report on only the First Page or All Pages.
    For First Page, only the first page is attached and sent in an email message. For All Pages, an email message is sent with a time-sensitive link to the report containing all pages.
• CSV
  Select Scaled or Unscaled to specify whether the values in the exported dashboards are scaled.

When the PDF: All Pages option is set the report runs in the background and a copy is saved to the NetOps Portal server that runs it. The user receives an email with a URL that links back to the full PDF report. When the user selects the URL it should download the full PDF report to their local system for review and analysis.
