Getting VSAM errors with the Endevor Element Catalog

Issue/Introduction

VSAM errors occurs with the Element catalog file -- 

VSAM Share Option Error DSN=element.catalog.file

Running an IDCAMS VERIFY returns code RC 50 Reason code 6.

Can the Element catalog and the EINDEX be rebuilt?

Resolution

Yes, Both element catalog and element catalog index can be rebuilt.

1)  Define your new catalog VSAM data set using the CSIQJCL library member/JOB BC1JJB07.
2)  Run Endevor SCM's Catalog Build utility for all defined Environments using the CSIQJCL library member/JOB BC1JXCNV.
