Unable to start DevTest Enterprise Dashboard with Oracle

Issue/Introduction

Error found in enterprisedashboard.log

2018-07-16 15:44:37,864Z (11:44) [main] ERROR dradis.Application - Exception: java.sql.SQLRecoverableException: IO Error: The Network Adapter could not establish the connection

 

Environment

All supported DevTest releases and databases.

Cause

The Oracle Listener was not running.

Resolution

Once listener started it resolved this issue.

To verify if the TNS listener is running, type the following command:

tnsping service_name
