Issue/Introduction

Data Protection iConsole rendering issues have been identified for some Rich Text Format (RTF) mails containing foreign language characters (i.e. Far Eastern characters or Hebrew).  

Example;

%! Hebrew % לשמועה יש 
%! Hebrew % מגרד את הגב 

Renders in iConsole as: 
%! Hebrew % ìùîåòä éù 
%! Hebrew % îâøã àú äâá

Cause

This is a programmatic issue.

Resolution

This issue is addressed by FIX:SO00854 (incorporating Web_15.20_HF0169 and Web_Native_x64_15.20_HF0170) which is available from the CA Support Portal (http://support.ca.com) 

Additional Information

Orchestria, Orchestria EPM, Orchestria APM, CA DLP and CA DataMinder are all brand names for the product now known as CA Data Protection.
