Issue/Introduction

Jasper Availability report showing device is down for many days when device is up and available in Spectrum.

A check of the OneClick Administration -> Report Manager -> Outage Editor - Search By Model page does not show any current data.

Environment

Any Spectrum version

Resolution

Validate following details:

1. Go to the OneClick -> Administration -> Report Manager -> Archive Expert page and check for status and recent update of the ModelOutage table

2. Check the $SPECROOT/mysql/data/reporting directory for "bucket" files.There should be only "few" with current date/time.

For the above two points to check, restart tomcat on the Spectrum Report Manager system and monitor for the ModelOutage table to update and the bucket files to get processed and removed.

3. Check for available disk space and add disk if disk space is low. If adding disk space, restart the mysql process after adding the disk space.

4. Check the $SPECROOT/mysql/bin/MYSQL.OUT file for errors.

If all looks good, open a case with Spectrum Support and provide a copy of the $SPECROOT/tomcat/logs/stdout.log (Windows) or catalina.out (Linux) and the $SPECROOT/mysql/bin/MYSQL.OUT file.
