Environment

Identity Governance 14.5

Cause

Identity Governance uses predefined HTML template files for email notifications. These default files include hardcoded table elements and border properties that must be manually modified to remove or adjust the email display format.

Resolution

  1. Navigate to the appropriate directory based on your installation type:
    • Virtual Appliance (VAPP): /opt/CA/VirtualAppliance/custom/IdentityGovernance/branding
    • Non-VAPP: {Application server}/standalone/deployments/eurekify.war
  2. Create a backup of the BusinessFlowMail.html file (e.g., BusinessFlowMail_Backup.html).
  3. Open BusinessFlowMail.html in a text editor.
  4. Locate the <table> line (typically line 13).
  5. Modify the table tag to remove the border or adjust the layout. Change:
    <table width="800" border="1" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" align="center">

    To:
    <table width="800" border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" align="center">
  6. Save the file.
  7. Restart the application server (e.g., JBoss) to apply the changes.
  8. Trigger a new campaign or mail escalation to verify the results.
