Issue/Introduction

Unable to locate a built in function for exponent. How is exponent math performed in CA 2E?

Environment

CA 2E 8.x

Resolution

There is no out-of-box operator in CA 2E for the "exponent" functionality.

However, it is possible to use a combination of EXCUSRSRC function type in CA 2E the and RPGLE operand "**" within it, to fulfill the exponent functionality.
