JasperSoft 6.3 install failure on Linux

Issue/Introduction

When trying to install Jasper 6.3 on Linux the install starts to extract and then just stops with error "Error in installing CA Business Intelligence"

Cause

This error is caused by improper permissions of the installer files on Linux

Resolution

When extracting the installation media on some Linux systems the permissions may not be properly set.
Since it is just the install media CA suggests giving the install media and sub directories/files 777 permissions.

As root:

chmod -R 777 /path/to/install_media/

Run the installer again and error will not occur.
