CMDB for z/OS NetSpy Network Performance NetMaster Network Automation SOLVE NetMaster Network Management for SNA NetMaster Network Management for TCP/IP NetMaster File Transfer Management

Issue/Introduction

When access to Historic data (via =H.I.B) results in message IPLOLH02 then there is a problem in accessing IPLOG (the IPLOG file contains the historical data available in submenu H "Historical Data" of the Netmaster Main menu). The Netmaster Log contains message
N87901 ERROR 64 OPENING NDB IPLOG - RE-APPLY LAST TXN FAILED.

Environment

Release:
Component: NMTIP

Resolution

The online help of message N87901 tells for Error 64 that "...the database manager detected a previous transaction had not been applied, and had an error when attempting to re-apply it. The database may be full, and need to be copied to a larger dataset."
So the solution is to allocate a larger IPLOG file.

Additional Information

The Job to define the IPLOG is located in member xxxLCALC.
