Issue/Introduction


Connector ITCM - CA-SAM generates some duplicate error :

Duplicate found: import_id.

It is caused by different values for import_cpu_type_id for one machine.


Example : 
A computer has 2 rows in the generated csv file.

One row for 
import_cpu_type_id=Intel Xeon E5-2680 v2

and one row
import_cpu_type_id=Intel Xeon E5-2640 0
 

Cause


Problem could be caused by a wrong AM inventory for the machine.

Environment

CA ITCM
CA-SAM Connector for ITCM
CA-SAM

Resolution


Do again a full inventory of this machine by executing this command on it via a cmd prompt :

caf start amagent args -rescan_inventory -collect


or via ITCM Console :

Right click on the machine and select Asset Jobs - Activate Job Check.

Then select "Rescan Hardware Inventory" and "Re-collect"
