DC015007 short on storage after RO98349

Issue/Introduction

After applying RO98349, a CV may run short-on-storage (DC015007) in pools 255 and then 0. Dump analysis shows they are filling with control blocks containing a RIPA eye-catcher.

Environment

Release: 19.0.

Cause

APAR RO98349 causes this.

Resolution

A new APAR to resolve the problem RO98349 fixes without failing to free the RIPA control blocks has been developed, apply SO08919.
