WPs and CPs not starting, but JWP/JCP OK

CA Automic Workload Automation - Automation Engine


The start up of the WP and CP from the command line or from the Service Manager Dialog fails with the following messages:

At the end of the log file:
U0003410 UC4.Server '%' version '%' ended abnormally.
(possibly the name and versions are indicated)

Some lines before: 
U00003341 The INI file does not contain valid 'WP' instance definitions.

The name the log can be WPsrv_log_xxx_00.txt  or still CPsrv_log_yyyymmdd_hhmmss_<code>_00.txt 

The start up of JWP or JCP is not impacted.


The definition of the [PORTS] section in ucsrv.ini contains an error.

The error may exist of additional spaces or additional tags

The ucsrv.ini file should only contain the tag [PORTS] once. Remove additional tags or comment them.
The definition of the ports should not contains additional spaces. Remove additional spaces.
