Updating in Quick Edit compared to Native Endevor

Issue/Introduction

When I use native Endevor to update an Element I get this error:
"C1G0168E ELEMENT CANNOT BE ADDED BECAUSE IT IS NOT IN "SIGNED-OUT" STATUS IN PR ".
Why does it work when I update the same Element using Quickedit?

Resolution

When you update a Element using Native Endevor it is mandatory that a RETRIEVE be done first. In Quickedit the Retrieve is automatically done for you.
