Issue/Introduction

Install Mainframe Application Tuner (MAT) 11.0 and am not getting data from a CICS monitor.

Trying to use MAT 11.0 to get information from CICS but gets the monitor gets the message  "no data available".

CICS level is CTS 5.3.

Environment

Z/OS level is 1.13

Resolution

One must be sure to not just install the MAT 11.0 at BASE and then attemp to IVP.  CTS 5.3 is not supported in MAT 11.0 at BASE!

Here are some indications that this is your situation:

A) When we initiated the CA MAT capture processing for CICS transaction under CICS V5.3 (Release 700), there is a message into CICS log:

TN0837S Unsupported CICS version 0503 e na log do MAT, a mensagem: TN0494W CICS routine not found for profile: xxxx.

Working with CICS support team we noticed that this message is issued by module T00CPLT.

B) Also Checking the MAT loadlib named: HLQ.MAT11.CEESPLD - we noticed that there are no routines for CICS 5.3 into it.
