Hide probes in Infrastructure Manager

Issue/Introduction

It is sometimes a requirement to allow a user restricted access to Infrastructure Management so that the can configure some probes but not others.

This doc describes how to configure this

Environment

Resolution

• To hide probes you need to use the infrastructure filter
  • In IM goto Security - Manage ACL
  • select the ACL in question
  • use the "set infrastructure Filter" button to filter what the ACL can see

After this any user who logs into infrastructure Manager with this ACL will only see the defined probes
