Issue/Introduction

This document provides a specific example how to create an Oracle Target Application and Target Account using CLI in CA PAM

Environment

Release:
Component: CAPAMX

Resolution

To define an Oracle Target Application you would submit:

... cmdName=addTargetApplication TargetServer.hostName=rh72 TargetApplication.name=myOracle TargetApplication.type=oracle Attribute.port=1521

To define a synchronised Target Account you would do:

... cmdName=addTargetAccount TargetServer.hostName=rh72 TargetApplication.name=myOracle TargetAccount.userName=system TargetAccount.password=myPasswd Attribute.schema=XE Attribute.useOtherAccountToChangePassword=false TargetAccount.privileged=true TargetAccount.synchronize=true Attribute.useOid=false

Additional Information

Attribute.useOid=false is specifying the used connection type.
In the UI this would correspond to Use OID : JDBC Thin
