Updating Company Logos in Identity Portal

Issue/Introduction

The Identity Portal displays a default Symantec logo upon initial installation. This article provides the procedure to replace the default branding with company-specific logos within the Portal Management Console.

Environment

Identity Portal 14.5 & 15

Cause

The default branding is applied as part of the initial deployment and must be manually replaced to align with corporate branding requirements.

Resolution

1. Log into the Identity Portal Management Console.
2. Select Branding from the top menu.
   
   
   
   
3. Select the target view (View, Desktop, Mobile, or Public).
4. Click Logo.
5. Click Browse and upload the desired company logo file.
   
   
   
   
6. Once uploaded, select the image from the available options.
7. Adjust the Height and Width values to correctly position the logo within the interface.
   
   
   
   
8. Click Save.

Note: The "Symantec | Identity Portal" text in the Admin interface and the small logo within the Hamburger menu cannot be updated in the current release and are under review for future updates.
