Issue/Introduction

How to move Entities and Functions between CA Plex Models?

We need to move part of your system that is currently on one CA Plex Model into an entirely new CA Plex Model. 

 

Environment

Ca Plex 7.2.1 and higher

Resolution

This can be done via the Export function. Right-click an object in the Object Browser and choose XML Export from the Tools Menu. The XML Export dialog displays. In the File Name text box, enter the name of the export file. Then take this exported XML file to the target model and reverse the process using XML Import from Tools Menu.
