Issue/Introduction

Is it possible to change the 'Alarm Type' field in Spectrum to be dynamic so that it can change the same way 'Alarm Title' does?

Cause

Working as designed

Note that the 'Alarm Title' may not be displayed as a column by default hence user may have the impression that dynamic titles are not working ( parameters not resolved correctly ).

Resolution

Only the Alarm Title can be made dynamic. The Alarm Type is fixed in the Probable Cause file associated with the alarm and cannot be changed per alarm but can be set from within Event Configuration Editor.

Add 'Alarm Title' column to the view so you can verify if the title parameters are resolved properly.
