Issue/Introduction


During installation of ITCM Agent AM plugin, following error appears :

Error 1723.There is a problem with this windows Installer package. A DLL requires for this install to complete could not be run. Contact your support personnel or package vendor. Action ciPtagentAfterCopy.703080D9_C6E9_445E_BABB_30D99AFEBBA9

Cause


This problem could be caused by an invalid path in PATH environment variable.

Open a cmd prompt and check the value of PATH variable with command :

set PATH


If an invalid path is detected, update or remove it from PATH value :

- Open a cmd prompt and execute :

%windir%\System32\rundll32.exe sysdm.cpl,EditEnvironmentVariables


- Correct the value of PATH variable under System Variables.
