CA Service Desk Manager CA Service Management - Service Desk Manager

Issue/Introduction

When there is the situation where it is necessary to find the client machine where a user is logged into the CA Service Desk Manager web interface, the pdm_webstat command can help with this. This document explains how and shows an example.

Environment

CA Service Desk Manager r12.9 and higher

Resolution

  1. On the Service Desk server, open the command prompt.
  2. Run the "pdm_webstat -d"  command.
  3. The result will show you the login user information in the format <userid>@<IP address> for each webengine, as follows.

Also, you can use "pdm_webstat -D" (note upper case -D rather than -d), where further session information including the logged user's <userid>@<IP address> is displayed, as follows.
