Attributes in Connector Xpress Do Not Retain Position on Custom Account Screens - Identity Manager

Issue/Introduction

When configuring custom account screens using Connector Xpress, custom attributes may move from their designated page sections after the configuration is saved. This behavior often results in attributes being incorrectly grouped into a single section, while other sections appear empty.

Identity Manager 14.5

Cause

Connector Xpress assigns the default name "New Page Section" to all newly created sections. Because the application treats all sections with identical names as the same object, it consolidates attributes into the first section encountered during the save process.

Resolution

1. Open the desired screen configuration within Connector Xpress.
2. Identify all sections labeled "New Page Section."
3. Double-click the header of each section to rename it to a unique identifier.
4. Add the required attributes to the now-uniquely named sections.
5. Click Save to apply the configuration.

Note: Renaming the sections ensures that Connector Xpress recognizes each section as a distinct object, preventing attributes from merging.
