Issue/Introduction

CA Datacom puts out a lot of informational messages to the console. For example for dynamic extends:

DB01705I,- DYNAMIC EXTEND START xxxnnn TRK 37,395 dataset_name
DB01706I - DYNAMIC EXTEND END xxxnnn TRK 39,395 nnnnnn VOL 1 VOLS 1 EXT

Can CA Datacom automate actions on console messages? For example to redirect these messages to an email?

There's no feature in CA Datacom that will automate actions on messages displayed on the console. This has to be done from a z/OS console automation product. CA OPS/MVS and CA SOLVE:Operations Automation are two CA products that can do this.
