How do I reset my ASM API password?

I am trying to reset my ASM API password but it keeps on giving me this error:
"Password is not correct. Please type your password again"
When changing the API password, there are 3 fields to fill in.
First field ("Current account password") is for the ASM UI. The next two fields are for your new API password and the retyping of that new password.
