Issue/Introduction

After migrating data from a 12.6.2 set of Provisioning DSAs to a 14.1 environment, the following error occurs for the SFDC endpoint: 

User 'UID' on 'SFDC endpoint ' read failed: Connector Server Read failed: code 52 (UNAVAILABLE): failed on search operation: eTDYNAccountName=UID,eTDYNAccountContainerName=Users,eTDYNDirectoryName=SFDC endpoint,eTNamespaceName=Salesforce,dc=im,dc=etasa: JCS@: gave up waiting for activation of 'SFDC endpoint' after 60 seconds (ldaps://:20411)

Resolution

When you enter a Salesforce URL in the connection details, the number at the end of the URL is the API version you're connecting to. For a 14.1 environment, that number should be 28.0. Any other number will result in errors.
