Why is CPM estimating a flow to be late?
Environment
Release: Component: JOBTRC
Resolution
The historical runtime are kept on a job bases by CA-Jobtrac. A job summary record is kept for each job by process period. The last 40 runtimes for the job are kept and a statistical average of those runtimes is calculated during archive processing. The average is more accurate, the more runs of the job that have occurred. Note that these averages are being calculated whether or not CPM is installed and active. CPM uses these runtimes for each job to estimate the flow completion time. As always, please contact CA Technologie support for CA Jobtrac Job Management if you have further questions.
