Issue/Introduction

The following error occurs when using a CRL (Custom Record Layout) member in CA File Master for MVS:

Error parsing layout member CRLMBR1, Line 00127.            
More than 100 non-comment records found without a period.    
...

Cause

One possible reason could be that the very first line was changed by a user or another application, somehow.

Resolution

Even if only "Custom Record Layout" was changed to upper case "CUSTOM RECORD LAYOUT" - no single change by any external tool is supported and it needs to be changed back to the exact originally CA File Master format.
