CA Automic Workload Automation - Automation Engine

Issue/Introduction

CA Automic jobs is failing with the following error message in the agent's log:

 'U00015009 Client: '0210' ,Login object: 'LOGIN.OBJECT', Host: 'AGENT', Login info: '<system user>' has a password > 20 characters or contains a comma'

Prior to CA Automic Automation Engine v12.1, there was a limit in length of  password and not all special characters were allowed such as comma. Starting from CA Automic Automation Engine v12.1, there is no more limit in the length and any character may be used in the password. However, the CA Automation Engine and the CA Automic Agents need to be on the same version(12.1).

Environment

Products: CA Automation Engine v12.1.x, CA Automic Agents v12.1.x
Operating System: ALL

Resolution

Please make sure that the CA Automation Engine and the CA Automic Agents are on the same version which is 12.1.x.
