Issue/Introduction
The Secondary (FT) SpectroServer Archive Manager is crashing When we are starting the ARCHMGR from the Control Panel we get the below message error:
SPC-OCP-10048: The Archive Manager process exited with error: Unknown error.
on the ARCHMGR.OUT it will state that a dmp file is created:
Saved full memory diagnostic file to 'D:\win32app\Spectrum\SS\DDM\support\ArchMgr.mdmp' (Provide this file to the Support Case to be analyzed) When Analyzing this dmp file you will see the STACK message:
Probably caused by : msvcr120.dll ( msvcr120!memcpy+232 )
Cause
The crash is due to incompatible Microsoft run-time binary msvcr120 on Windows 2008 R2.

Resolution
Please check for the following:
1. Find the ArchMgr.exe executable under $SPECROOT/SS/DDM
2. Select/click on it - doing then a right_click - select the properties
3. Find here the "compatibility tab - and enable compatibility to early Windows server release (i.e. Windows Server 2008 SP1)
4. Verify if that helps to get ArchMgr.exe executable started
