There are no specific steps needed prior to a year end, in CA PPM.
CA PPM is not a financial accounting system, where the month end/year end are supremely important, and you can't revert once they are locked in. It doesn't maintain debits and credits which must be in balance at a set point.
Instead, time moves according to Projects and Tasks, and the activities that occur on those. Provided there are future time periods set up, then nothing in particular needs to be done apart from the regular running of Jobs, that are probably running anyway.
However, the answer does depend on how you are using the system - and what other systems you are feeding into. This is on a site-by-site basis.
If you're feeding out numbers to a dedicated Financial system, which does have a real year end process, then everyone needs to be clear as to when the last PPM Jobs are run. If a CA PPM system is integrated with a Financial system, these checks and balances likely would have been communicated earlier, as it is an integral step of the initial site setup.
