Issue/Introduction

MQ secure channels can't connect. 

Sample error we are trying to resolve with the keyring:

SECA STC40109 +CSQX620E csect-name System SSL error, 
channel channel-name 
connection conn-id
function 'gsk_secure_socket_init' RC=442

What does this error mean?

Resolution

The 442 indicates: 
Multiple certificates exist for label. 

Explanation:
Access of certificate/key via label could not be resolved because multiple certificates/keys exist with the label.

User response: 
Correct certificate/key store so that label specifies a unique record. 

Check for duplicate certificates with the same label. Remove these duplicate certificates and use the MQ command REFRESH SECURITY TYPE(SSL) from the console.
