ems probe failed to start

Issue/Introduction

The ems probe turns red/fails to start.

In the ems.log file, we see: "com.nimsoft.events.common.exception.EMSRestartException: Data Store Open Failed "

Environment

DX UIM - Any Version

ems probe - any version

Cause

Possible EMS DB corruption.

Resolution

Please do the following: 
- deactivate the ems probe 
- Delete ems db folder from the following location: <UIM_Installation>\Nimsoft\probes\service\ems\db 
- activate the ems probe. 

after you will see ems start properly.

Additional Information

In a future release of EMS (not yet determined as of November 2024) this will be detected by the probe and it will delete the db files itself in order to self-correct.
