How to determine if an event is correctly set up so that it does not run before its predecessor completes?
Environment
Release: Component: JOBTRC
Resolution
Any job that is set up with predecessors should wait until the predecessor events successfully complete their execution before that event can be submitted. If an event runs before its predecessors, it may be that the SCL is set up incorrectly and no actual predecessor events were defined. Select the event in question from the checkpoint by placing an 'S' by it and verify whether the Schedule Event Detail shows any predecessor events are define. To add the appropriate predecessors, update the SCL to include the desired predecessors in the Successor/Predecessor field.
