Question mark doesn't display for a new attribute in CA PPM but shows for out of the box boolean attributes. However, the question mark doesn't display in the attribute name for out of the box attributes, but it still shows correctly in displays with the ? at the end.

This is due to the value displayed in the application being pulled from the Object->Views->Field link. Some out of the box fields may not have the ? in the attribute name in Administration->Objects->Attributes, but it will display in the fields section in Administration->Objects-Fields, which is where the display is pulled from.

Solution 1: If the attribute hasn't been created yet, when creating the attribute add the ? to the name of the attribute, then this will show up in all displays.

Solution 2: If the attribute is already created, update the name for the attribute in Fields to contain the ? at the end of the name.

To do this::

1. In PPM go to Administration->Objects and click on the Object Name the attribute is associated with
2. Click on the Views tab
3. Click on the Fields link next to the display you want to change the name (example Fields next to General)
4. In the Properties Label for the field, add the ? / Update the name to the required name

Repeat these steps for any other view type the update is needed for including List Column and List Filter
