In the CA Configuration Automation UI
when creating a new Network Profile, there is an Auto-Acceptance section which provides the option for the Network Profile job to automatically assign the selected Access Profile and the Management Profile.
If selections are made in the drop down menus for the Access and Management Profile, then each time the Network Profile job is executed, it will override any changes to existing Access Profile and Management Profile configurations for systems that have already been discovered in the Inclusion list.
When the Network Profile job is configured to run on a schedule, this overriding process of reassigning the Access Profile and Management profiles may not be desired.
Configuration Automation - All versions
Reconfigure in the Network Profile the Auto-Acceptance to use the following configuration.
Change the Access Profile drop down selection to "blank".
Change the Management Profile drop down selection to "Use Default".
Using this configuration for the Network Profile Job execution will not override any existing Access Profile and Management profiles that have been configured for systems that have already been discovered in CCA.
Note: For any new discovered systems in the inclusion list using this configuration does not assign an Access Profile, and the Default Management Profile will be assigned.
