Issue/Introduction

Not able to upload SSL certificate on PAM
Error: private key is missing.
Private key is created with zero bytes and is not accepted by PAM.

Cause

Private key is created with zero bytes due to the passphrase being too long, and not accepted by PAM.

Environment

PAM 2.8.2
 

Resolution

For Uploading/Downloading key files, you need to ensure that the passphrase used is not too long, and is accepted by PAM.
