How can we install the Advanced Password Services?

Issue/Introduction

We are working on installing and configuring Advanced Password Services in our CA Single Sign-On 12.8 environment.

Where can we find the installer to install the Advanced Password Services in our environment?

Environment

Release: Applicable to 12.52 policy server and above releases 
Component: SMPLC, SMAPS

Resolution

Advanced Password Service is now part of the CA SiteMinder Policy Server installer from R12.5 and above.

Please do the following to enable the Advanced Password Services

1) Re-run Policy server configuration wizard.

2) On the choose features screen, do not choose to configure any of the features/components. (uncheck all checkbox)

3) On the choose password services screen, select the Advanced password Services and then click Next.

4) On the Pre-Configuration summary screen, click install to install the Advanced Password Services
