This article describes the procedure for replacing the default favicon associated with the Identity Manager User Console in an on-premises deployment.
Identity Manager 14.5 & 15
The default favicon is a static image file stored within the application server's deployment directories. Replacing this file with a custom .ico file allows for branding customization.
For Identity Manager 14.5
<link rel="icon" type="image/icon" href="<%= context %>/ui/images/favicon.ico"/>
<link rel="shortcut icon" type="image/icon" href="<%= context %>/ui/images/favicon.ico"/>
For Identity Manager v15
For both versions:
For further information about favicon, see documentation Modify the Header in the User Console - 14.5 or Modify the Header in the User Console - v15
For Virtual Appliance environment, see the KB article The Permission denies while trying to edit favicon.ico file
