Clarity Upgrade fails with ORA-20000: ORU-10027: buffer overflow, limit of 1000000

Issue/Introduction

Clarity PPM Upgrade fails with an error as follows:

Cause

This is caused by customizations on customer's database that have not been removed prior to upgrade.
 

Resolution

 Any custom database tables, views, functions, procedures and other objects should be dropped before you start the upgrade.
Once the upgrade completes, and you confirm it's working as expected, you may recreate your custom objects.
