How to disable a confirmation Panel for command DSI (Desired State Inactive)?

Issue/Introduction

When issuing a DSI command against a resource that is defined in an Service a Confirmation Panel is displayed. This Document shows how that Confirmation can be removed.

When issuing a DSI command against a resource that is defined in an Service a Confirmation Panel like this is displayed:

In case you want to disable this confirmation you can update the DSI command as follows:

 

  1. Go to /ASADMIN.C (Automation Services : Command List) and select the DSI command with line command 'U'.

  2. In the second panel titled "Prompting, Confirmation and Validation" change the value of "Does This Command Require Confirmation?" to NO:

  3. Hit PF03 to save the changes. The Command List is displayed again and message RMPD0003 UPDATE COMPLETED SUCCESSFULLY shows the successful update.
