Issue/Introduction

While running the install of the report server, the java version is stored in the config of the tomcat service runner.

The change the java version that is used in the starting of the tomcat server used to deploy the report server you must update this.

 



Environment

Release: CAIDMB99000-12.6.8-Identity Manager-B to B, 14.3, 14.4, 14.5
Component:

Resolution

Navigate and execute: "D:\Program Files\Apache Software Foundation\Tomcat 8.0\bin\Tomcat8w.exe"

 

Stop the service.

Click on the Java Tab:

Click on the three dots and navigate to: "D:\Program Files\Java\<JAVA JRE install folder>\bin\server\jvm.dll"

Click Open.

Click Apply.

Navigate back to the General Tab and start the service:

 

Navigate to "D:\Program Files\Apache Software Foundation\Tomcat 8.0\logs\catalina.2017-03-22.log"

Confirm the following lines in the catalina.log:

22-Mar-2017 15:46:51.028 INFO [main] org.apache.catalina.startup.VersionLoggerListener.log Java Home:             D:\Program Files\Java\<JAVA JRE install folder>
