Issue/Introduction
DBUTLTY SPILL function abends with a S0C1 in DBSPLPR +1BA
The MUF gets error message:
DB00316I - LOG SPILL nnn-1 INACTIVE ERROR
Cause
The S0C1 in DBSPLPR occurs when the LXX becomes corrupt and we don't find the records we expect in the LXX. The MUF then gets a DB00316I - LOG SPILL nnn-1 INACTIVE ERROR
Environment
Release: DBCISF00200-15.1-Datacom-Database-Option for CICS Services Component:
Resolution
To resolve this perform the following:
Shut down the MUF
Run DBUTLTY to INIT the LXX and the FXX. See INSTJCL member BDNEW01 for sample JCL to do this. For Datacom/AD use INSTJCL member AD15LXXI.
