Issue/Introduction

Sort processing during the daily DB2 'DAY065' step fails with a RC=U0999 and the following messages after an increase in the amount of DB2 data being processed. 

WER999A  -  UNSUCCESSFUL SORT 0C4 S  
ERROR: Sort did not complete successfully. See messages on the Job Console Log or //SYSOUT data set.
ERROR: Host sort cannot be used.

Resolution

In the MICSDBx proc, increase the SORT=  space and then restart in the DAY065 step.  

For example, change 

SORT='99,0',

to

SORT='500,250',
