How Should APM for SSO be Configured to make use of the Policy Server's Auto Startup?

Environment

APM for SSO 13.1 on Linux Systems monitoring Policy Servers

Resolution

To configure auto startup....

1- Follow the normal configuration procedure for APM for SSO monitoring Policy Servers as described here: https://docops.ca.com/ca-apm-for-sso/13-1/en/installation-and-configuration/installation-and-configuration-on-policy-server-linux

2- In ca_ps_env.ksh, add...
export INTROSCOPE_NATIVEDATAAPI_LOGPATH=<path>

For example:
export PATH
export LD_LIBRARY_PATH
export INTROSCOPE_NATIVEDATAAPI_LOGPATH=/tmp/caapmsso/log/

3- Restart the Policy Server.

Additional Information

To start the Policy Server while monitored by APM for SSO, the environment variable  INTROSCOPE_NATIVEDATAAPI_LOGPATH needs to be set. Exporting this via command line or adding this to the user profile starting the Policy Server, will not be considered if the Policy Server is started via system d auto start. The changes above ensure this environment variable is set. Please contact CA Support if you have any questions or concerns.
