Unable to edit USS element in the Endevor Eclipse plug-in

Issue/Introduction

Recently upgraded the test system to Endevor. During testing of the Eclipse plug-in ran across errors when attempting to Open an USS element either in the LOCAL or the regular Project View.  

Have no problems editing the element directly in Endevor on the mainframe.

Resolution

The file extension determines which application (editor) will be used to open the file. When the Type definition is setup, the field   'FILE EXT' is used as the last qualifier.

Eclipse uses the file associated with that qualifier to open the file. You can relate the correct extension under Eclipse, Window, Preferences, General, Editors, File Extensions. That relationship will determine which application is used to open the local file.
