"SPC-OCC-10747" error when running a host configuration capture in Spectrum

Issue/Introduction

When trying to pull a host configuration from Spectrum, we are getting the following error:

SPC-OCC-10747-Error capturing configuration for hosts: Failure."

Environment

Any Spectrum version

Resolution

Use a sniffer (Wireshark for Windows, tcpdump for Linux or snoop for Solaris) to check the network traffic between the SpectroSERVER (SS) and the device during the host configuration capture process.


Check in the sniffer file for the following:

1. SNMP set-request sent from the SS to the device and ensure there are no error messages

2. SNMP get-response received from the device and ensure there are no error messages

If there are no error messages indicating a possible root cause, please open a case with Spectrum Support for assistance.
