DataPower Agent Warnings and Error messagesin agent logs

Issue/Introduction

Within DataPower 4.0 agent log we are seeing the following warning and error messages:

[WARN] [IntroscopeAgent.Agent] Dynamic Instrumentation is not available for the agent. Please make sure that PBD configuration is valid and that the Dynamic Instrumentation module is deployed as agent extension.

[WARN] [IntroscopeAgent.Agent] Transaction Tracer user ID has not been configured.  User ID will not be reported with transactions.

[WARN] [IntroscopeAgent.Agent] No bytecode transformers with valid configuration are found. Please make sure ProbeBuilder is deployed as an Agent extension and it has a valid PBD configuration.

[ERROR] [IntroscopeAgent.WilyTransactionStructure] Retrieved value -1 for Triage Map ageing. The value is not valid, please check configuration

What is the impact of these WARN and ERROR messages?

Resolution

These messages are logged from default agent (base java agent). DataPower 4.0 agent extension is reusing the same default agent for datapower agent and thus the messages are being logged. These [WARN] and [ERROR] messages can be ignored and there is no loss of functionality for DataPower 4.0 agent extension.
