Environment

CA COMMON SERVICES 14.1 - z/OS supported releases -

Resolution

Here are the recommendations to uninstall CA Common Services from one of your lpar:

If you are not running a z/OS below 1.13, CAW0LPA library does not come into play.

If you are running with a z/OS below 1.3, remove CAW0LPA library from your LPALSTxx concatenation.

You will have to remove CAW0PLD and CAW0LINK libraries from LINKLIST and all the APF authorized Common Services libraries.

You can stop CA HEALTH CHECKER address space but CAMASTER will remain active until the next IPL.

The CAMASTER code front ends IBM modules and begins the initialization code and passes control to the IBM code.

Removing the two Common Services libraries CAW0LINK and CAW0PLD and a subsequent IPL will eliminate the code to start CAMASTER.
